Synopsis
Along with The Gods: The Two Worlds is a 2017 South Korean fantasy, action, drama film. It is directed by Yong-Hwa Kim and written by Ho-Min Ju. The film revolves around the story of a rescuer who died early. It conveys the story of what will happen in the afterlife. Will he be able to pass the trials and be resurrected?

Lead Roles:
Cha Tae-Hyun as Kim Ja-Hong, the rescuer who was considered as paradon when he died. He is an actor, singer, radio DJ, television personality, and film director. Tae-Hyun was well-known for his show titled “My Sassy Girl“.

Ha Jong-Woo as Kangrim, one of the guardians who defended Mr. Kim. Jong-Woo isn’t just an actor, he is also a film director, producer, and screenplay writer. He is one of the highest-paid South Korean actors who had sold more than a hundred million tickets with his films. Indeed, he is a versatile actor and he plays his role in this film ineffable.

Kim Yang-Gi as Dookchon, the youngest defendant of Kim Ja-Hong. Yang-Gi is the youngest South Korean actress who had received the Blue Dragon Arts Award. She also starred in the award-winning 2017-2018 series, “Sweet Revenge”.

Ju Ji-Hoon as Haewonmaek, one of the guardians. He contributed a lot of comedy to this film. Ji-Hoon is a South Korean actor and a model. His award-winning films such as the “Kingdom“, made him more popular. Ju Ji-Hoon’s looks and skills are undeniably great. His role as Haewonmaek fits him well.

After watching Along with The Gods: The Two Worlds, many questions popped up in my mind. Was I worth to pass the trials on how I spent my life? Or have I done my purpose in this world? And am I worthy to have another chance to live? Those questions appeared in my mind because of the rescuer named Kim Ja-Hong. You will surely interrogate at the end of this movie. Because every trial in the afterlife, there is a lesson. This movie will teach you morals that you may need in your life journeys. Technically, the effects in this movie aren’t exaggerated and it is so realistic. And the setting was impressive.
I highly recommend Along with The Gods: The Two Worlds for everyone. Whether you like action or thriller or drama or even comedy films. Because this movie will definitely satisfy you with its breathtaking and thoughtful scenes.
