Alive Plot Review
Would you rather kill yourself in the midst of zombie apocalypse? Or choose to be ALIVE?
Survival mode on! In Alive, you will definitely feel the thrill and action. Same as other movies such as the “Peninsula”, it’s not just about human against the zombies, but also survivors against survivors. It also teaches us to always be ready or prepared for such an outbreak. There is also a glimpse of drama, when Oh-Joon attempted committing suicide and when the masked man did everything for his infected wife. The setting was well-chosen, a place wherein there is a lot of building structures that added thrill in the film.
However, the movie failed with their goal to tell a story. It focuses on providing the audience with action but they failed to impart a story. And also, there are scenes that are quite boring and exaggerated. One of the loopholes that I’ve noticed is the unrealistic encounter between Oh-Joon and the zombies. It was too hard for him to kill the smaller and weaker zombie than the huge and stronger one.
If you are a fan of action thriller films, I recommend Alive. It will fulfill your satisfaction with breathtaking encounters.
